The Science Fiction Research Association's 2010 annual conferance will be held June 24-27 at the Carefree Resort and Villas, in Carefree, Arizona. The conference theme is "Far Stars and Tin Stars: Science Fiction and the Frontier."

Welcome to the conference web site, a Ning social network. The site's interactive nature will help the conference coordinators and member attendees communicate, organize, and prepare for the conference. Use the tabs above to explore the site. Write your own blog to share your thoughts before and during the conference, create a member group to find folks with similar interests, and collaborate in making the 2010 conference the most science fictional conference the SFRA has ever held. You don't have to be an SFRA member, or registered for SFRA2010, to join this site.

Resort Reservations Online

The link to the Carefree Resort and Villas online reservation system is active. Click on the "Venue" tab to find the conference room rates and official link. I tested it and everything seems to work, so make your reservations early. Note that the rate is identical for the three grades of Resort Room, so book early to be sure that you get the best view. Explore the resort's website for information about on-site or nearby amenities and activities.
